I started making platforms when I realized that my fitness clients didn’t have the tools or time to make their own platforms, and there wasn’t much available to purchase.
Fido Fitness Foundations offers:
Fido Fitness uses whitewood/pine planks, which are 1 inch thick. They are easy to lift, set up, and store. The wood is untreated (no paint or sealer), which minimizes any ‘off gassing’ and keeps the costs low.
The stacker is made of styrofoam panels, covered with yoga mat and secured with duct tape and grip tape. They are made to support and elevate the sitting platform so they are size specific.
Extend the life of your platforms by keeping them indoors and away from moisture. It’s wood; it will warp and rot. The stacker will get soggy and yuck.
80 grit Grip tape is adhered to the top and bottom of the platforms. For dogs that are sensitive to that surface texture, a piece of yoga mat cut to the size of the platform can be placed on top.
